Between 2018 and 2021 I taught mathematics at Concordia University in Montreal. In Quebec’s education system, the kind of courses I have taught are prerequisites for most undergraduate-level studies that may use mathematics to some degree. Therefore, many students in engineering, biology or economics degrees follow such courses during their first year at university.
